Prof. Dr. József Poór
Prof. József Poór is the President of the Hungarian Association of HR Professionals (HSZOSZ), Professor Emeritus at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (Hungary), and a full professor at Selye János University (Slovakia). He is an internationally recognized authority in International Management and Human Resource Management, serving as a program director and core member of several doctoral schools. He teaches in both Hungarian and foreign languages and has held visiting professorships at leading universities across the United States and Europe, including in Honolulu, Frankfurt, Prague, and Cluj-Napoca.
With nearly two decades of professional experience as a managing director and senior consultant at top-tier global firms such as HayGroup, Mercer, and Diebold, Prof. Poór brings a unique blend of academic depth and real-world insight. His scholarly contributions include more than 900 publications in multiple languages—English, German, Romanian, Slovak, and Hungarian—making him one of the most prolific voices in the field of management and HR.
