When is the APC charged?
The APC is only charged after a manuscript has been accepted for publication following peer review. Submission and review are free.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and bank wire transfer. Institutional purchase orders are accepted for university-funded research.
Can I request a waiver?
Yes. Authors from low/middle income countries or those experiencing financial hardship may apply for a partial or full waiver by contacting the editorial office before submission.
Is CJBEHM fully open access?
Yes. All published articles are immediately available under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licence, allowing free access, sharing, and adaptation with attribution.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There are no submission, review, revision, or colour figure charges. The APC is the only fee.
