Thank you for considering the Canadian Journal of Business, Economics and Health Management (CJBEHM) for publishing your research. Please carefully read the following guidelines before submitting your manuscript to ensure it adheres to the journal’s standards.
Scope of Our Journal
The Canadian Journal of Business, Economics and Health Management is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research across business, economic policy, and health management. The journal supports interdisciplinary research that addresses crucial global and local challenges across these interconnected domains. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Business and Organizational Leadership: This business journal Canada focuses on organizational leadership, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and sustainability in health industries. It also covers marketing strategies, consumer behaviour, and digital transformation in healthcare operations.
- Economic Policies: The Canadian economics journal covers trade impacts, economic inequality, and macroeconomic and microeconomic influences on business and healthcare. It also explores economic policies in health systems, health economics, and cost-effectiveness analyses.
- Healthcare Administration and Management: The focus of this Canadian journal of health management is on healthcare administration, policy-making, and strategic management. Topics include patient safety, quality improvement, technology integration, and workforce management in healthcare.
- Interdisciplinary Research: Explores the interrelationship between business strategies and public health outcomes. Includes economic evaluations, public-private sector roles, collaboration frameworks, and sustainable practices.

General Formatting Guidelines
Proper formatting ensures clarity and uniformity, resulting in smooth processing and review. Adhere to the following standards when preparing your research paper:
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in British or American English. Use consistent language throughout the document.
- Document Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) for compatibility and ease of review.
- Page Layout:
- Size: Use A4 size, with 1-inch margins on all sides.
- Line spacing: 1.5 lines throughout the manuscript.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
Manuscript Structure
Organize your manuscript to increase its readability and compliance with journal standards. Include the following sections:
- Title Page:
- Title: Clear, concise, and no more than 20 words.
- Authors’ Names and Affiliations: Include full names, institutional affiliations, and contact details for all authors.
- Corresponding Author: Indicate the corresponding author with their email address.
- Abstract: Summarize objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in 200–250 words. Also, add 3–6 keywords for indexing purposes.
- Main Text: Organize the manuscript into the following sections
- Introduction: Provide context, objectives, and the significance of the study.
- Literature Review (optional): Discuss previous research and gaps addressed by the study.
- Methodology: Describe the research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
- Results: Present findings with appropriate tables, charts, or graphs.
- Discussion: Interpret results and their implications for theory and practice.
- Conclusion: Summarize the study and suggest future research directions.
- References: Use the IEEE referencing style. Number references consecutively in the text using square brackets, e.g., [1].

- Acknowledgements: Credit funding sources, contributors, and relevant affiliations in this section.
- Appendices (optional): Include additional supporting material relevant to the main text.
Figures and Tables
Effective visual elements enrich the presentation of data and findings. So, follow these guidelines:
- Numbering: Number figures and tables sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1) for clarity and reference.
- Placement: Position figures and tables within the text, near their first mention in context.
- Captions: Provide descriptive captions below figures and above tables for better readability.
